Join us in creating a thriving pollinator habitat!

We are excited to share that the National Junior Art Honor Society (NJAHS) has been mentoring students in building pollinator houses to support local ecosystems! This hands-on project has encouraged environmental awareness, community engagement, and a deeper understanding of the role pollinators play in our world.

🌟 Great News! Parkview is now officially registered as a Monarch habitat! To celebrate Earth Day, we are hosting a workday on April 26th to install the pollinator houses and plant native species that will nourish and protect pollinators in our area.

Join Us!

📅 Date: April 26th
⏰ Time: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
📍 Location: Parkview Middle School

We would love for our community to be part of this initiative! Whether you can lend a hand or provide supplies, your support is essential in making this project a success.

We Need the Following Supplies:

🛠 Dirt Tiller

🌱 Seeds—Milkweed & Native Plants

If you can volunteer your time or donate any of these items, please reach out to Ms. Debra Flynn at debra.flynn@ankenyschools.org. Together, we can create a sustainable environment for pollinators and make Parkview a thriving habitat!

Thank you for being a part of this meaningful project. We look forward to working alongside you to bring our pollinator-friendly vision to life!
