Each year Parkview embarks on a project to raise money to support many student activities which, without direct support from our community, we simply could not do. We have partnered with QSP Readers Digest to provide the structure and support we need to help with our annual magazine sale fundraiser.
From February 24 through March 4 our students will be contacting friends and family asking them to renew a current subscription (at a huge discount) or pick up a new subscription to one of nearly 1000 magazines. Through this process, students will not personally collect any money, and they will not delivery any magazines.
We are also looking for volunteers to help us with a variety of jobs. On Thursday, Feb. 25th and Thursday, Mar. 4th we need help with the address books from 7:30 – 8:30. Then on Feb. 26, Mar. 2nd, and Mar. 8th from 8:30 – 11:00 we will be the calculations of the order forms. We also have our “prize store” on those days from 11:15 – 1:20. If you are interested in volunteering for us, please reply to darla.harbert@ankenyschools.org.
